REMOVE THY HEAD FROM in THE SAND!!
As many of us now know, it is not written, promised or quaranteed anywhere that our lives will be a "bowl of cherries". Misery, tragedy and futility can be experienced by the young, the old, the infirmed, animals, scholars, rich, poor and those in possession of evil hearts and minds! What I am thinking from here on is not for the latter category of humans(?) -evil hearts and minds ( I hope they $####&&&&) and that if at all possible their bottoms became a target for any type of hard missile flying around in the Katrina and Rita storms (pitchforks, alligator teeth, poisonous reptiles, bullets prefably).
Okay, I've calmed down; moving along, my friend Nancy in her latest blog stated that she thought "someone is telling us something"! Well I agree with her in part, the person she is alluding to is not who I mean though. The person in my opinion who should be telling us something is OURSELVES! Look in the mirror, stop listening to what others promise, be prepared to take some responsibility for doing for self. The government as has been recently shown will not, cannot do everything for us...frightening thought I know, but it has proven to be true. The dangers of any catastrophy will be different depending on where one lives, but stashing away and having extra medications close-by is a smart thing to attempt (discuss with your physicians); purchase a waterproof marker and tattoo important identifying data on your bodies if given the chance....we gotta start thinking of what to do...if....lol, have already started restacking my bar, when the next snow blizzard hits, I'll be ready...you needn't "byob", I'll share (;)
Now that the rain has stopped falling from the sky and our eyes, shall we continue to pray that all will continue in a positive vein for our friends from the south and wherever else they may have relocated to. Chuckle, I cannot help but be amused at the prospect of the reaction some of our evacuees may have once the snow starts falling here!
